winter concerts in prospect park

"First Saturday Folk" brings a Sing-Along holiday concert to the Prospect Park United Methodist Church sanctuary on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 7 pm to benefit Southeast Seniors Warm up with your favorite holiday tunes embraced by our voices!

A Pop-Up Market featuring jams / jellies, baked goods, and handmade wares from the congregation, and as always, a reception with refreshments and social time follow in Community Hall.   The concert is free with donations accepted in which 100% go to Southeast Seniors.  PPUMC is located at 22 Orlin Ave SE, across from Pratt School. Free parking is available on the street and in the Pratt School parking lot. We hope you can enjoy this festive concert.

The Christmas season is a special time for music, especially brass music ever since the Salvation Army’s brass ensembles began playing on street corners for Christmas shoppers. Thus, as part of our Community Concert Series, PPUMC invites you, one and all, to come hear and sing along with First Saturday Folk.

The Prospect Park Community Choir hosts two performances a year at the Prospect Park United Methodist Church. The Winter Concert is typically in December and features holiday music, while the Spring concert features a variety of musical pieces with a different theme each year.
